by car:

A7 / Exit Göttingen/Dransfeld:
B3 towards Göttingen city centre turn right on B27 towards Eschwege/Fulda (Bürgerstrasse) turn right on Bunsenstrasse, the Department of Mathematics in on the left hand

by train:

The train station is called: Goettingen
to find a suitable train connection

by bus:

Leave the station following the signs in direction "Zentrum". Make a half turn right to the bus station (platform D).

Take the bus No. 4 to the station "Walkemühlenweg", it takes approx. 8 minutes.

Or take the bus No. 12 to station "Bürgerstrasse", it takes approx. 3 minutes.

by foot:

Leave the station following the signs in directions "Zentrum". Make a half turn right. At the central bus station you will get on the sidewalk along the "Berliner Strasse". Follow this southward (right) and continue this road (more or less straight). After the next crossover the road called "Bürgerstrasse".

Three more smaller roads (Rosdorfer Weg, Marienstrasse, Wiesenstrasse) leading to the right, then you reach Bunsenstrasse. The building of Mathematisches Institut is at the street corner.

To reach the Institut für Numerische und Angewandte Mathematik follow the Bürgerstrasse for one more street and turn into Lotzestrasse. At the next street corner you can find the building of Institut für Numerische und Angewandte Mathematik.
